Digital Marketing Strategies for a Concrete Coating Company

I’ve worked with a couple concrete coating companies this year and have been driving tons of leads for them through digital marketing. How did we find success? Here are a couple of the tactics we used:

Google Search Ads

Start with the basics of search. Show an ad when users are looking for garage coating services. Not only that, but ensure your ads are actually serving for the right queries. Google often makes it difficult to determine what your ads are actually serving for, so an expert like myself can help ensure you’re getting in front of the right audience. 

Local Service Ads

This strategy doesn’t always have the volume of Google Search but drives much better quality leads. Local Service Ads appear at the top of Google results with your business contact information, but only when a user is in your designated service area. To get started, the business needs to create the account themselves and enter all the accurate information about hours of service, types of services offered, etc. I then advise on budget, settings, and optimization to get you more visibility and leads.

Youtube Ads

If you have attention-grabbing and engaging video content, this is a great way to increase awareness for your brand. Stay top of mind for your remarketing audience or get in front of new users who have recently shown interest in your services. 

Real Results

One concrete coating client was in growth mode when we first started working together and needed a partner that would treat the business like their own and give them the attention they needed. They needed more leads quickly to support their growth plans and needed someone who was going to make their budget work effectively for them and pivot quickly when it was required.

In the 8 months we’ve been working together, this client has increased his budget by 50% to include more brand awareness tactics without seeing an increase in CPA. Typically, a significant increase in spend, especially in Youtube and Display, will cause your CPA to increase as you get in front of users higher in the funnel. But for this client, I was able to improve efficiency in the existing campaigns and keep the Youtube campaigns driving conversions often enough that CPA was not affected.

In July of 2024, we actually had to drastically decrease the budget because he had too many projects and couldn’t keep up with the new leads. After ramping back up, September and October were his best months yet for lead volume!
